I am wet behind the ears and am willing to learn step by step if need be so by August if not sooner I can be rolling. From the short bio's of everyone it looks like everyone is open and willing to help new comers and that is what I am. I am trying the backwards thing but I am having problems getting it a bit. I am about to order a video or something. LOL. I used to go down to Anacostia and watch the older folks get down. Of course that was back when the wheels were made of metal and everybody and their mother was down there partying. I haven't really been skating since I was younger but I am convinced that besides bowling I have found a new passion. I have folks from out of town telling me to stick with Pebblez and the gang an I will be well off. SO here I am trying to get in where I fit in. I am originally from Florida (561) so I have that bounce blood in me but I been in the DC are for a while now so I am trying to get that slide. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Sup Folks. Yeah Buda I was out there Wednesday night to get my practice on and Tuesday for family day. Wednesday no one was there so I was able to get 3 hours of practice in. Oh yeah and I picked up on the backwards thing. It isn't fast yet but I got it down. I just have to work on turning around to skate backwards and turning back around to skate forwards. I had to bust my tail a couple of times but it started to click for me. These skates I have make a world of difference. Can't wait to see all ya'll getting it in Ruff Rollerz style. I am the Founder and Visionary of The Divahs Club. I have been blessed to encounter some new associates along the way. Tanya Royalty (formerly Tonya Blount) has partnered with me for The Lil Divahs 2nd Retreat of the year. We will be teaching these young ladies basic homemaking skills, cooking,cleaning, sewing, hairstyling, etc... July 27-29, 2007. Tonya is also having a Talent Pageant and I thought I would pass it on.
The talent pageant awards scholarships to young ladies ages 13 to 17 to assist them with an college education. You know it is never to early to plan for college. The pageant builds self-esteem and self-confidence through exposure to different aspects of performing arts.
All contestants must reside in the Washington DC Metro area.

What's up Ruff Rollerz? Just stopping through to give a shout out to the folks who put me in the right direction and hooked me up with the people to give me my first real pair of skates I can actually learn on and have for a while. Good lookin out Pebblez for the direction and stayin in my ear about the skate world and making sure I am where I need to be. Good looking Budda for being up Seabrook Sunday so I could at least meet some folks and see what this thing is really like. Thanks for taking the time out to meet me at the rink so I can get my skillz up. I know you thought I was crazy when I said I couldn't skate backwards but since I got these new skates I can really make some moves and I feel them make skating so much easier so I should pick up fast. (I am fresh in game and trying to learn as much as I can) Much love to this fam, the first group of folks to show a new brother to this skate thing some love. Can't wait to meet more of the fam. That's all for now. Mean time in between time ya'll be easy and hit me if you have any more tips.

Sup Folks. Yeah Buda I was out there Wednesday night to get my practice on and Tuesday for family day. Wednesday no one was there so I was able to get 3 hours of practice in. Oh yeah and I picked up on the backwards thing. It isn't fast yet but I got it down. I just have to work on turning around to skate backwards and turning back around to skate forwards. I had to bust my tail a couple of times but it started to click for me. These skates I have make a world of difference. Can't wait to see all ya'll getting it in Ruff Rollerz style. I might need to wear a shirt so folks who don't know me will spot me out and be able to come up to me and say what's up. Anyway. Everybody be good and can't wait to hit the wood. Out

Big Ups 2 my Dbl R family, its me back on the sk8 wood once again. I havent lose a step (maybe)but I hope 2 see my family & friends on the floor 2nite at the Palace. I miss everyone and will be you all on Sunday (God willing). I am the Founder and Visionary of The Divahs Club. I have been blessed to encounter some new associates along the way. Tanya Royalty (formerly Tonya Blount) has partnered with me for The Lil Divahs 2nd Retreat of the year. We will be teaching these young ladies basic homemaking skills, cooking,cleaning, sewing, hairstyling, etc... July 27-29, 2007. Tonya is also having a Talent Pageant and I thought I would pass it on.
The talent pageant awards scholarships to young ladies ages 13 to 17 to assist them with an college education. You know it is never to early to plan for college. The pageant builds self-esteem and self-confidence through exposure to different aspects of performing arts.
All contestants must reside in the Washington DC Metro area.
